Advisory Work

Access an accountability and thought partner to help you move through key periods of growth or transition in your organization

What is it?

  • Typically an hourly-based engagement with meetings either on an as needed basis or regularly recurring sessions

  • Topics vary based on organizational stage and your specific needs, frequent areas of advisory focus include

    • Business sale process and negotiation support

    • General merger & acquisition (M&A) preparation or support

    • Assistance in thinking through how to approach or analyze key business or team challenges, building financial literacy, assistance on corporate planning, etc.

When is it most valuable?

  • Advisory or coaching work is often most valuable when you are in a stage of growth or planning and would benefit from an additional perspective, an accountability or thought partner, or guidance on how best to approach specific challenges or questions

How is it different from consulting?

  • Advisory work provides a more flexible structure with an as-needed partner that can be on-call to provide an outside perspective and advice based on our experience in similar situations

  • The work product is focused on providing input or advice on specific situations, versus creating analysis or materials during the course of a focused consulting engagement
